Many of these pieces are worked on by two or three embroiderers simultaneously, creating layers of colour, texture, and detail that simply cannot be replicated by machine.

Care: To preserve the delicate embroidery and vibrant colours, we recommend dry cleaning only.

Cotton Items: Machine washable and easy-to-care for! To ensure you get the most out of your Gawjus garments, wash them on a gentle cycle in either cold or warm water. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener as this may cause damage to the fabric fibres.

Silk Items: Hand-wash these in cold water and use a very low-temp iron if ironing.

We want you to love your Gawjus purchase, but we know online shopping doesn’t always go to plan. We happily offer refunds, exchanges or store credit on full-priced items returned within 14 days, provided they are unworn, unwashed and in their original condition.

- All domestic orders are shipped via Courier Guy.
- Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive an email with your tracking number and information, therefore we urge all customers to download the free Courier Guy app to monitor the delivery progress of their items.
- A flat shipping rate of R150 will be applicable for orders under R1500.
- FREE shipping for orders over R1500.
- Most areas in South Africa will receive delivery within 2 - 5 business days.
- Smaller towns in rural areas might be subject to delivery of up to 7 working days.
International Shipping
- International Shipping rates are calculated by the weight of your total order & is also dependent on the country of destination.
- All international orders are shipped via The Courier Guy.
- Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive an email with your tracking number and order information.
- All custom fees, taxes and any other additional costs associated with your purchase abroad are the responsibility of the customer. These are NOT included in the cost of the order or shipping charge.
